The spirits of the valley: Fading Colors Of The Day

With slow and tired gestures, the day depicts her last painting
The night takes over the paintbrush, while preparing her own palette

When I’m in a beautiful location, I always make a small series of photos. Often the last photo is the most abstract, as if with a quick and brisk movement I want to quickly grab the last impression of a landscape to take it home…
This is how small series of photos often appear; they seem to evolve from impressionistic to very abstract….

‘Fading Colors Of The Day’ is the last photo in the series ‘The spirits of the valley’, part of the gallery ‘Untouched land‘. ‘The spirits of the valley’ is a series of 6 photos, made in Italy in the vicinity of Lake Como.
