Beyond the horizon: Beyond the horizon, behind the sun

Beyond the horizon, behind the sun
At the end of the rainbow life has only begun
In the long hours of twilight underneath the stardust above
Beyond the horizon it is easy to love

Bob Dylan – Beyond the horizon

Sunrise above the fields in front of my house. The water in the foreground is a drowned field after a few weeks with a lot of rain.
I made this photo on a winter morning a few years ago, just after the sun appeared above the horizon. This photo is one of my personal favorites, I love the winter colors of the fields with the remains of the crop that has been there in the summer.

‘Beyond the horizon, behind the sun’ is the photo that gave name to the series ‘Beyond the horizon’, part of the gallery ‘Untouched land‘.
