‘Faint memories’ is a photo I made October 2017 in the old city of my home town Nijmegen, The Netherlands.
This old part of the city of Nijmegen is called ‘Benedenstad’ (Down Town), because it is literally 5 to 10 meters below the adjacent city center. Winding streets with houses and other buildings of sometimes hundreds of years old, interspersed with new houses, give you a fragmented idea of what the old city might have looked like a long time ago.
I added this photo to the gallery ‘Lost cities‘.
